November 24, 2018 Decision I went to Manila on the 1st week of November 2018 for a work-related travel. I spent a week there without biking. When I got back to Cebu, It was 2 weeks before the Insane tour. I decided to ride my bike to work as a form of practice. On top of that, I also did a 120-km ride with my team to Aloguinsan on the weekend. The following week, I spent additional 3 days of practice, riding my bike to work. It's now or next year they say. My speed and endurance is still there so I think I could make it this year. Tour Day Then the day of the tour came, I slept and woke up early. What is AMTA? AMTA Stands for Alliance of Mountain Trekkers and Adventurers.  A  group of Mountain bikers and adventures based in Abuno, Minglanilla Cebu which started on the early 2000s. What is Insane Tour? Insane Tour is a traditional mountain bike tour around the Island of Cebu in 24 hours or less.  It started some time in 2001 which the AMTA pioneers first toured Cebu in 4 days and lessened for the succeeding years until it was a tradition to finish it in 24 hours or less. The tour will start at 4:00AM every last Saturday of November at the AMTA Station, Abuno Minglanilla, Cebu.  All bikers should log their name at the AMTA Station, sign the waiver and claim their race number. From Minglanilla going to Bogo then to San Remigio all the way to Tabuelan, Tuburan, Balamban, Asturias and Toledo then proceed to Pinamungajan and Aloguinsan.
