Bike Out usually sets of every last Sunday of July, A week before the annual Cobra Iron Man Philippines. This event was organized for all bikers specially the Iron Man participants. This is to familiarize the bike route prior to the actual race. This year's sponsor is Sun Life Financial Philippines who gave away 250 free cycling jerseys for everyone who liked and share any of the  Sunshorts videos found on their facebook page. The jersey ran out before the 1st day of distribution ended. Bike Out commenced at The Mactan Newtown all the way to Talisay City Hall with approximately 400 bikers. Most of the bikers sported a Tri bike and Road bike, only few bikers rode a mountain bike. The participants were instructed to ride on a regular pace for a ceremonial parade going to Parkmall for a 1st regroup as well. The Peloton of over 30 brave bikers from Aloguinsan to Toledo during the Opening Salvo of AMTA's Annual Insane Tour held last June 4, 2017. The entire ride covered more than 100 Kilometers with more or less 8 hours riding time. Kudos to Kelvin Luigi Gepte of Team #Yotdaog for this selfie video.

The road to Insane Tour was formally opened last June 1, 2017 as announced by AMTA's Tour Director - Romeo Delima. The Opening Salvo was held last June 4, 2017, Sunday and participated by 33 brave bikers which already includes the guests. Guest bikers were from Cowboy Grill Bikers and Team Yotdaog. Rye Kido of Cebu Fixed Gear was also with us. Our route was more than a hundred kilometers- a mixed of flats, uphills and downhills. It was some time on February when I decided to participate on the upcoming Insane Tour - a round Cebu ride in 24 hours or less. It is an annual event organized by the Alliance of Mountain Trekkers and Adventurers, commonly known as AMTA. Then came the day of the tour - November 26. It was set to start at 4am from AMTA Station, Abuno Minglanilla.There were four (4) teams organized - Gurkha, Expendables, Warriors and Phoenix. I belonged to the Team Phoenix with 8 bikers. We started to pedal heading North and had breakfast in Danao at 6:30am. The other teams were ahead. We started pedaling a few minutes after a sumptuous meal. We took a quick stop at the foot of Emy Climb and grab some refreshments, it was 8:48am. Off we go and struggled our way on the hills of Emy. I kept on falling behind our pack since I frequently shifted to low gears during ascends while my fellow bikers stick to their gearings,  I opted for a quic...

Fool on the hill is an annual event of the Alliance of Mountain Trekkers and Adventurers (AMTA) which falls every last sunday of February. It is an AMTA holiday and a normal Sunday ride with a sum of approximately 155kms.  It is set to start and finish at the AMTA station in Abuno Minglanilla at 5:00 AM.  Route: Minglanilla - Carcar - Mantalungon - Aloguinsan - Pinamungajan - Toledo - Balamban - Transcentral Highway - JY, Lahug Cebu City - Minglanilla. Decent time of completion is 12 hours or less. This event is considered to be an internal race among fellow AMTA bikers. Guests are also welcome to participate in this traditional event.
