The Peloton - Aloguinsan to Toledo (AMTA Insane Tour Opening Salvo)

The Peloton of over 30 brave bikers from Aloguinsan to Toledo during the Opening Salvo of AMTA's Annual Insane Tour held last June 4, 2017.

 The entire ride covered more than 100 Kilometers with more or less 8 hours riding time.

November 24, 2018 Decision I went to Manila on the 1st week of November 2018 for a work-related travel. I spent a week there without biking. When I got back to Cebu, It was 2 weeks before the Insane tour. I decided to ride my bike to work as a form of practice. On top of that, I also did a 120-km ride with my team to Aloguinsan on the weekend. The following week, I spent additional 3 days of practice, riding my bike to work. It's now or next year they say. My speed and endurance is still there so I think I could make it this year. Tour Day Then the day of the tour came, I slept and woke up early. Insane Tour 2017 Opening Salvo

The road to Insane Tour was formally opened last June 1, 2017 as announced by AMTA's Tour Director - Romeo Delima. The Opening Salvo was held last June 4, 2017, Sunday and participated by 33 brave bikers which already includes the guests. Guest bikers were from Cowboy Grill Bikers and Team Yotdaog. Rye Kido of Cebu Fixed Gear was also with us. Our route was more than a hundred kilometers- a mixed of flats, uphills and downhills. Willy's - A biker's haven

Willy's - Does it ring a bell? Well, it does to most of Cebu's avid bikers, may it be Roadie or MTB. A lot of bikers from Cebu City regularly ride their bike to Willy's during weekdays before or after going to work/school. Some bikers from nearby town often visit the place during weekends. Willy's, derived from the store owner's name - Willy. The store is located in Busay, Cebu City.  The store's official name, by the way, is "Darwin Store" but local bikers prefer to call the place Willy's. Approximately 6 kilometers away from JY Square Mall; which most average bikers took 20-30minutes to get there with a normal pacing but 15 minutes or less to the strong ones. Willy and his family are very accommodating to their every biker customers. They regularly serve snacks and refreshments such as Tempura, Fishball, Hard boiled eggs, banana cue, Gatorade, and sodas.
